Shiv Sena (UBT)’s Saamana Calls to Awaken ‘Maharashtra Dharma’

Shiv Sena (UBT) has called on the people of Maharashtra to awaken and follow the true spirit of “Maharashtra Dharma.” In an editorial published in its party newspaper Saamana, the party urged citizens to protect the values, culture, and pride of the state.

The editorial strongly criticized political leaders who, according to Shiv Sena (UBT), have weakened Maharashtra’s identity for personal or party gain. It asked the people to stand up against such actions and defend the state’s honour and self-respect.

“Maharashtra Dharma,” as described in the editorial, means following truth, justice, bravery, and service to society. The party said that the state’s great leaders like Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and Lokmanya Tilak built Maharashtra on these values. Shiv Sena (UBT) urged the youth, workers, farmers, and thinkers of the state to come together and protect these ideals.

The editorial blamed the current political situation for creating confusion and weakening the voice of Maharashtra. It said that certain leaders were ignoring the state’s interest and blindly following orders from Delhi. According to Saamana, this behavior goes against the true spirit of Maharashtra.

Shiv Sena (UBT) also asked people to remember the state’s rich history of bravery, social reform, and unity. It encouraged citizens to reject false promises and divisive politics. The party said that only by following Maharashtra Dharma can the state regain its strength and respect.

The editorial called for awareness and action. It asked citizens to think carefully before supporting any political party or leader. It said that every vote should protect Maharashtra’s pride and future.

With this message, Shiv Sena (UBT) tried to stir public emotion and build support for its stand. The party wants to lead a movement that brings people together under the banner of Maharashtra Dharma and stands firmly against those who harm the state’s interests.

This strong appeal from Saamana shows that Shiv Sena (UBT) plans to make Maharashtra’s pride a key issue in the coming political battles.
