Stalin Defends Fair Treatment of Jayalalithaa University
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin said on Friday that his government has not treated Dr J Jayalalithaa Music and Fine Arts University unfairly, even though it is named after former CM Jayalalithaa.
Speaking at the university’s convocation, he said, “We have not discriminated against this university. In fact, since 2021, we have added new courses, increased grants, and improved facilities.”
He added, “This is the kind of political respect I want to maintain. Even though it was not always followed, it should continue in the future.”
