Suresh Says Davis Cup Run Just Beginning
India’s latest Davis Cup star Dhakshineswar Suresh has said that his recent success for the country is only the start of his journey. The young tennis player believes there is much more to achieve as he prepares to compete regularly on the ATP Tour.
Suresh impressed fans with his strong performance in the Davis Cup and quickly became one of India’s new tennis heroes. However, he says this achievement is “just the beginning” and that he is focused on building a long professional career.
At present, the 25-year-old is studying communication at Wake Forest University in the United States. He has been balancing both his education and tennis career over the past few years.
Suresh is set to complete his degree in May this year. After finishing his studies, he plans to fully concentrate on professional tennis and take part in more international tournaments on the ATP Tour.
He said managing studies and sports was challenging, but the experience helped him grow both personally and professionally. Now, he is excited to devote all his time to training and competing at the highest level.
With his recent form and confidence, Suresh hopes to make a strong mark on the global tennis circuit and continue representing India with pride.
