Swami Vivekananda’s Ideals Inspire Youth: Amit Shah
Union Home Minister Amit Shah today paid tribute to Swami Vivekananda on his birth anniversary and extended his greetings to people across the country on National Youth Day.
Mr Shah said that Swami Vivekananda’s powerful thoughts and teachings continue to inspire young people. He noted that Vivekananda’s message of never giving up until one achieves their goal is helping today’s youth develop a strong sense of duty, discipline, and patriotism. According to him, these values are playing an important role in building a strong and developed India.
The Home Minister said that Swami Vivekananda helped connect India’s youth with the country’s rich knowledge, traditions, philosophy, and spiritual heritage. He added that Vivekananda also took India’s cultural and spiritual ideas to the global stage, earning respect for the nation worldwide.
Mr Shah further highlighted Swami Vivekananda’s contribution to social service. Through the Ramakrishna Mission, Vivekananda promoted the ideals of serving society, helping the poor, and working for the welfare of humanity. He said these values continue to guide and inspire generations even today.
