Tamil Nadu Tops Khelo India Beach Games
Tamil Nadu topped the medal table on day four of the Khelo India Beach Games 2026, held at Ghoghla Beach in Diu. The team won two gold, two silver, and three bronze medals, thanks to strong performances in pencak silat (a traditional martial art) and beach volleyball.
Tamil Nadu won gold medals in women’s beach volleyball and men’s regu pencak silat, while also earning several other medals across different events. Although Goa won the men’s beach volleyball gold, Tamil Nadu ensured they remained a strong contender on the podium.
The hosts, Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu, finished second with a total of six medals. Manipur and Chandigarh secured five medals each, placing them high on the leaderboard.
In other events, Haryana women and Delhi men won sepaktakraw gold medals, ending Bihar’s hopes of winning the title.
With consistent performances, Tamil Nadu has shown dominance across multiple sports, keeping them in a strong position as the games continue.
