TN Deploys Rescue Teams After Weather Alert
In response to the weather warning, the Tamil Nadu government has sent special
disaster rescue teams to help people if needed. One team from the National
Disaster Response Force (NDRF) and two teams from the State Disaster Response
Force (SDRF) have been sent to Chennai district. These teams are trained to carry
out rescue work during heavy rain, floods, and other emergencies.
The government has also sent one SDRF team to Tiruvallur district to stay ready
for any situation. Officials said that these teams will be available round the
clock to help with evacuation, rescue operations, and other emergency tasks.
The state government is taking these steps to ensure quick action and safety for
the public during the expected bad weather.
