TVK Criticizes DMK Over Refusing Power Sharing

On Tuesday, TVK general secretary Aadhav Arjuna strongly criticized the DMK for not sharing power with its political allies.

In a post on X, he said that using the votes of alliance partners to stay in power and then ignoring them afterwards is unacceptable in Tamil Nadu politics. He called this approach unfair and outdated.

Arjuna’s post clearly supports the demand for power-sharing by Congress and other DMK allies. He questioned DMK’s approach, saying, “Doesn’t using allies when needed and discarding them later show a feudal mindset?”

He added that politics in Tamil Nadu is changing, and such cunning strategies will no longer work. Arjuna’s remarks reflect growing demands from alliance partners for equal participation and respect in government decisions.
