Mystery spinner Varun Chakaravarthy remains uncertain for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in their crucial IPL 2026 match against Gujarat Titans on Saturday. Despite playing through injuries all season, he has been a key player in KKR’s revival this year.
Chakaravarthy returned to form after the first three matches, taking 10 wickets in his next four games, including a crucial spell against Sunrisers Hyderabad. In their match against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), KKR was forced to bench Chakaravarthy due to a small hairline toe fracture in his landing foot, as confirmed by head coach Abhishek Nayar.
