The milestone was commemorated at the hospital with a celebratory event including a cake cutting ceremony attended by the clinical team and patients who have benefited from robotic surgery. A notable highlight within these 500 robotic assisted gynaecological surgery milestones includes a world record recognised 5 kg fibroid hysterectomy, demonstrating the capability of robotic platforms in managing highly complex surgical cases with precision and safety. Women across a wide age range, typically between 25 to 70 years, have benefited from robotic gynaecological procedures, including younger patients requiring fertility preserving interventions and older patients undergoing treatment for cancer related conditions.
