NASA Crew-12 Launch Delayed Again Due Weather

NASA’s Crew-12 mission launch has been delayed again due to bad weather. The earlier attempt this week was called off because conditions along the rocket’s flight path were not safe.

NASA teams are now targeting no earlier than 5:15 a.m. EST on Friday, February 13, for liftoff from the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida. While the weather at the launch site is mostly good, parts of the flight corridor over the Atlantic were considered unsafe, so mission managers decided to wait.

The mission will carry four astronauts to the International Space Station (ISS) aboard a SpaceX Dragon spacecraft, continuing NASA’s ongoing work in space research and exploration. Teams are monitoring weather conditions closely to ensure a safe launch.
