RRB ALP Recruitment 2026: Last-Minute Notice Release

The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) under the Ministry of Railways have issued a short notice for the recruitment of Assistant Loco Pilot posts, which is expected to fill 11,127 vacancies across all railways. The notification informs candidates about the upcoming recruitment process and advises them to prepare necessary documents before the detailed notification is released on official RRB websites.

According to the indicative notice, applications will be accepted online through the official portal https://www.rrbapply.gov.in from May 15, 2026, to June 14, 2026. The recruitment drive covers Assistant Loco Pilot posts placed in Pay Level 2 with an initial pay of Rs 19,900 under the Seventh Central Pay Commission.

The notice also specifies important dates for the CEN 01/2026 ALP recruitment:

* Opening date of online application: May 15, 2026
* Closing date for submission of application: June 14, 2026 (23:59 hours)
* Age limit reference date: July 04, 2026

Candidates must be between 18 and 30 years of age as on the specified date. The notification will provide details on educational qualifications, medical standards, and other eligibility conditions.

RRBs have advised candidates to verify their primary identity details using AADHAR while filling the online application form to avoid inconvenience and delays during the recruitment process.
