WhatsApp Data of 3.5 Billion Users Exposed

Security researchers say they collected phone numbers from over 3.5 billion
active WhatsApp accounts, including nearly 750 million users in India, the highest
number in the world.

They were also able to see publicly available profile photos of 62% of Indian
users (around 46.5 crore), along with other information like the “About” text,
devices used, business account details, and more.
