Till a few months ago, Kajal Aggarwal was flying sky-high in Tollywood! Why wouldn't she? She was, after all, the heroine of the record-breaking successful film 'Magadheera'. Producers and directors from both Tollywood and Kollywood actually lined up outside her residence to sign her up in their films. True to the adage 'Make hay while the Sun shines', Kajal raised her remuneration to Rs.1crore.
She signed a few films in both the languages. Much to her dismay, her next film in Telugu nosedived at the box-office. Faced with an immediate failure after being part of a mammoth hit, Kajal couldn't blame anybody but her fate. As a corollary, the same producers and directors from both the languages who had earlier lined up outside her house to sign her up, are again queueing up outside her house - this time to take back the money they had paid her advance amount.
Even the Telugu distribution rates of the Tamil film 'Naan Mahaan Alla', her only film in Tamil, have been reduced. This has sent shock waves in the distribution circles.
