Adani Group Completes 33 Deals Worth ₹80,000 Crore

Since January 2023, the Adani Group has completed 33 acquisitions worth
around Rs 80,000 crore (USD 9.6 billion) across its businesses. This shows
the group continues to have strong access to capital and is steadily growing,
even after the short-seller allegations that shook the markets almost three years ago.

Most of the acquisitions have been in the group’s main sectors.
Ports led the way with purchases worth about Rs 28,145 crore, followed by
cement at Rs 24,710 crore and power at Rs 12,251 crore. Newer businesses
accounted for Rs 3,927 crore, while transmission and distribution added
Rs 2,544 crore in deals.
