Online Bookings See Strong Response at Victoria Hall

Online bookings to visit the newly restored Victoria Public Hall have received a strong response from the public, according to officials from the Greater Chennai Corporation (GCC). Many visiting slots were filled quickly soon after online reservations opened on Thursday.

Visitors are allowed to enter the historic building in fixed time slots. Each visit lasts for 90 minutes and is scheduled between 8.30 a.m. and 6 p.m. To manage the crowd and ensure a smooth experience, only up to 60 visitors are allowed in each time slot.

GCC officials said the good response shows the public’s interest in the restored heritage building. The online booking system has been introduced to regulate the number of visitors and help maintain the building while offering a comfortable and safe visit for everyone.

The restored Victoria Public Hall is expected to attract many more visitors in the coming days, especially history lovers and tourists eager to explore one of Chennai’s iconic landmarks.
