Elon Musk’s Grok AI to Join Pentagon Systems

U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said on Monday that Elon Musk’s AI chatbot Grok will be combined with Google’s generative AI to work inside the Pentagon network. This is part of a plan to use as much military data as possible to make AI smarter.

Speaking at Musk’s SpaceX facility in South Texas, Hegseth said, “Very soon we will have the world’s best AI models running on all unclassified and classified networks in our department.”

By using Grok together with Google’s AI, the Pentagon aims to improve data analysis, decision-making, and overall efficiency in the U.S. Department of Defense. Officials say this is a step toward bringing advanced AI technology into national security and defense operations.
