Vem Narender Reddy Files Rajya Sabha Nomination
For Vem Narender Reddy, a senior politician from Telangana, filing his nomination for the Rajya Sabha was a proud and emotional moment. He submitted his nomination papers at the Telangana Legislative Assembly on Thursday, March 5.
This opportunity did not come easily. Narender Reddy had been waiting for many years for such a chance. His political career saw a major turning point after the Indian National Congress came to power in Telangana in 2023. Since then, his position within the party has grown stronger.
After filing his nomination papers, Narender Reddy expressed his gratitude to senior Congress leaders. He thanked Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Mallikarjun Kharge, and Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy for giving him this opportunity. He said he considered the nomination a blessing from them.
Narender Reddy’s political journey has been full of challenges. Over the years, he changed parties and faced ups and downs. However, he remained loyal to Revanth Reddy. Their political relationship grew stronger with time.
His nomination to the Rajya Sabha, along with senior advocate Abhishek Manu Singhvi, shows how far he has come. He started his career as a grassroots worker in the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and has now become a trusted associate of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. This long-standing association has finally brought him success.
Both Narender Reddy and Abhishek Manu Singhvi filed their nomination papers on Thursday morning. Earlier, Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president B. Mahesh Kumar Goud handed over the official B-form to Narender Reddy, allowing him to contest the election to the Upper House.
With this development, Narender Reddy is now set to enter the Rajya Sabha and represent Telangana at the national level.
