RRU, SSB Sign MoU for Security Training
Rashtriya Raksha University (RRU) and the Sashastra Seema Bal Academy (SSB Academy) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in New Delhi to improve training and education in national security. The aim of this partnership is to bring together academic knowledge and real-world experience in border security.
According to the Ministry of Home Affairs, this agreement will help create a strong system for training and accreditation. RRU, which is an Institution of National Importance, will provide academic recognition for various training programmes conducted at the SSB Academy. This will help improve the quality and credibility of training given to SSB personnel.
Both institutions have also agreed to share resources. This includes exchanging expert faculty, modern teaching methods, and specialised training facilities. Such cooperation is expected to improve learning and make training more effective.
RRU will also provide hands-on training to SSB personnel through its advanced laboratories and field-based workshops. This will give officers practical experience along with theoretical knowledge.
The partnership aims to modernise the SSB training system by focusing on new technologies. Special attention will be given to areas like border surveillance and internal security, which are becoming more important in today’s security environment.
Overall, this collaboration is expected to strengthen the skills of security personnel and help India build a more efficient and modern national security system.
