Boulders Classic 2026: Sharma Leads by Seven Shots

Hyderabad, India – April 17: Shubhankar Sharma continued his strong performance at the Boulders Classic with a score of 64, matching the course record and extending his lead to seven shots. After three rounds, he was at 20-under-par (196).

Sharma, who is known for his success on the DP World Tour, started the day as the overnight leader. His round included nine birdies and one bogey, putting him in a commanding position heading into the final day. Players like Rashid Khan, Angad Cheema, and Vishesh Sharma were tied for second place at 13-under-par (203), seven shots behind.

Sharma has been consistent over the three rounds and expressed confidence in his game. He plans to stay aggressive in the final round while sticking to his process.

Other notable players included Ajeetesh Sandhu, who moved into fifth place with a score of 68, and Saptak Talwar, who improved to sixth place with a 66. Meanwhile, Mohd Azhar secured eighth place at 10-under-par (206). Yuvraj Sandhu, one of the pre-tournament favorites, was tied for 32nd at two-under-par (214).

With a significant lead, Sharma is aiming to win his seventh DP World PGTI title and his first since 2017.
