Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) set a target of 176 runs for Delhi Capitals (DC) during their match at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Saturday. RCB started strong with opener Phil Salt and Virat Kohli contributing 52 runs before Kohli was dismissed for 19 runs, despite failing to hit his 300th IPL six.

Devdutt Padikkal batted next and scored 18 runs but was caught by DC skipper Axar Patel. RCB captain Rajat Patidar hit a six but was quickly dismissed by Mukesh Kumar. Salt continued to dominate from one end, scoring an impressive half-century in just 30 balls, finishing with 63 runs.

Despite a strong effort from their lower order, RCB ended on 175/8. For DC, Lungi Ngidi, Kuldeep Yadav, and Axar Patel each took two wickets, with Mukesh Kumar claiming one.

RCB will aim to build on their win, while DC looks to bounce back after consecutive losses by chasing down the target.
