Tamil Nadu Allocates Rs 264 Crore for Anti-Narcotics Police Stations
The Tamil Nadu government has approved ₹264 crore to strengthen the state’s fight against drug trafficking and other narcotics-related crimes.
The funding will be used to improve the capabilities of 65 anti-narcotics police stations across Tamil Nadu. These units are part of the Specialized Anti-Narcotics Task Force (ANTF) and will now focus exclusively on cases involving illegal drugs.
