NTA Overhauls Exam Team and Security
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has made big changes to its team after being told by Union Education Minister Pralhad Joshi to improve exam systems. Around 600 experts were removed, and new ones will be added soon. The agency is also introducing a four-step checking system for question papers to make sure they are correct and error-free.
During a meeting with officials, Joshi asked them to prepare well for exams by ensuring security and proper infrastructure. NTA’s director general shared details of the steps being taken, including plans to bring in 20-25 new officials over the next few weeks.
The agency is also moving its offices to safer locations and increasing security with help from CISF teams. These changes were discussed after Joshi met with top officials to check how NTA was handling recent issues. More than 50 staff members have already been removed as part of the reforms.
