Babar, Shinwari shine as Pak beat Lanka in 2nd ODI at home

Star batsman Babar Azam slammed a hundred while pacer Usman Shinwari snared five wickets as Pakistan survived a scare to beat Sri Lanka by 67 runs in the second one-day international here as Karachi staged its first ODI in 10 years on Monday.

The first match of the series was washed out without a ball being bowled on Friday.

Azam struck 115 off 105 deliveries (4×8, 6×4) to top-score for the hosts and also become the third fastest to 11 ODI hundreds by getting past India captain Virat Kohli. South Africa”s Hashim Amla and Quinton de Kock occupie the first two positions in the list, respectively.
