‘Robopocalypse’ TV Series Developing
The science-fiction story Robopocalypse is set to return as a television series. Imagine Entertainment and Weed Road Productions are working together to develop the project, which is based on Daniel H. Wilson’s 2011 novel.
Ron Howard, who is associated with Imagine Entertainment, will direct the pilot episode. Akiva Goldsman of Weed Road Productions will write the episode and oversee its development.
The series will explore a world where machines turn against humanity, creating a dangerous situation for people across the globe. The original book focuses on the growing threat of intelligent machines and the struggle of humans to survive in a world controlled by technology.
Although the project has attracted attention from fans of the original novel, many details about the television adaptation remain unknown. The production team has not yet revealed the complete storyline or how closely the series will follow the book.
No television network or streaming platform has been confirmed for the series so far. The creative team is currently focused on developing the project and bringing Wilson’s science-fiction story to the screen.
With Ron Howard directing the pilot and Akiva Goldsman leading the writing, the upcoming series is expected to bring a new television version of the popular science-fiction story to audiences.
