12 Dead while Maha Roadways bus falls into Narmada river in MP

In Bhopal, July 18 : At least 12 passenger died and several were reported injured after a Maharashtra Roadways bus fell into the Narmada River, in Dhar district of Madhya Pradesh’s on Monday.
a senior government official said, The Maharashtra Roadways bus was The bus ,belonging to  (MSRTC) believed to be carying  30 to 32 people over, he said. The bus was broke the railing of a bridge on the National Highway No.3 (Agra-Mumbai road), situated close to Dhar and Khargone borders, and then fell into the river, he said.The bus was heading to Pune from Indore. Mean while Madhya Pradesh minister Narottam Mishra informed that 12 people have lost their lives while 15 had been saved so far.
12 people dead, 15 rescued after a Maharashtra Roadways bus going from Indore to Pune falls off Khalghat Sanjay Setu in Dhar district, says Madhya Pradesh minister Narottam Mishra.The National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) has rushed to the spot, he added, After getting the  information from Indore Divisional Commissioner (Revenue) Pawan Kumar Sharma instructed the Khargone and Dhar collectors to rush to the spot to launch a rescue operation, officials said.The river current was secure, Narottam Mishra said, adding that the rescue operation was on process for the time being, an ex-gratia of Rs. 2 lakh each from PMNRF has been announced for the next of kin of those people who lost their lives in the bus accident.PM Modi said that those who  were injured would be given Rs. 50,000.
