Andhra Pradesh CISF Constable Suspected in Pakistani Honey-Trap Case

A constable from the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, is under suspicion of being ensnared in a Pakistani honey trap. Identified as Kapil Kumar and deployed in the security wing at Visakhapatnam Steel Plant, he allegedly developed a friendship with a woman named Tamisha through social media. His movements raised suspicion, prompting officials to question him.

Authorities seized his mobile phone for forensic analysis and lodged a complaint with Steel Plant Police Station, resulting in a case being registered against him under the Official Secrets Act. The case’s implications on national security have led various agencies to join the investigation, focusing on whether he shared sensitive information with the Pakistani woman.

Visakhapatnam being the headquarters of the Eastern Naval Command adds significance to the case. Kapil Kumar has been serving at Visakhapatnam Steel Plant since 2002, with previous service at Bharat Dynamics Limited in Hyderabad.
