Andhra Pradesh Mahila Commission Urges Swift Action in Minor’s Rape Case

Following a distressing incident near Mandavalli in Eluru district, Andhra Pradesh Mahila Commission Chairperson Gajjala Venkata Lakshmi has called for stringent action against the accused involved in the sexual assault of a minor girl. Expressing deep concern over the appalling crime, Lakshmi directed the Eluru district police to prioritize the investigation and provide necessary protection to the survivor and her family.

The incident, involving the alleged rape of a Class X student by a juvenile, accompanied by the filming of the assault for blackmail purposes, demands swift and decisive action to ensure justice for the victim and accountability for the perpetrators.
