Anna Centenary Library’s Exciting Summer Programme

The Anna Centenary Library is all set to kickstart a month-long summer programme and workshops for children, starting from May 1. The programme will offer a variety of engaging activities, including magic shows, puppet shows, reading sessions, and traditional art forms like Bommalattam. Aimed at educating and entertaining children aged 4 to 16 years, these sessions will also focus on promoting Tamil culture.

In addition to children’s activities, the library will conduct workshops for young adults in collaboration with the American Center – U.S. Consulate General. These workshops will cover topics such as robotics, 3D printing, and theatre, providing a unique learning experience for participants aged 18 and above. Additionally, the library will screen children’s films on Sundays to foster an appreciation for cinema and encourage meaningful discussions among young viewers.
