BJP Alleges Outsider Groomed as Naveen Patnaik’s Successor in Odisha

The BJP has accused the Naveen Patnaik-led government in Odisha of grooming an “outsider” to succeed the Chief Minister. Bharatiya Janata Party national president J.P. Nadda, during a public rally near Berhampur, criticized the alleged move, cautioning the people of Odisha to remain vigilant.

The BJP has been highlighting the rise of V.K. Pandian, a close aide of Naveen Patnaik, in the Biju Janata Dal (BJD), suggesting that an “outsider” is being prioritized for leadership roles. Nadda urged the people to vote for the BJP, citing concerns over corruption and the alleged involvement of bureaucrats and politicians in fraudulent activities.
