Case Filed Against Three Persons Arriving on Boat from Kuwait in Mumbai

The Mumbai Police have filed a case against three individuals on charges of illegal entry after they arrived in Mumbai on a boat from Kuwait. The trio, originally from Tamil Nadu, had gone to Kuwait for work two years prior but reportedly faced mistreatment from their agent. As a result, they decided to escape and arrived in Mumbai by boat, anchoring at the Gateway of India.

Despite a preliminary check revealing nothing suspicious on the boat, authorities proceeded to register a case against the individuals under the Passports Act for their unauthorized entry. The incident is reminiscent of the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks, where ten Pakistani terrorists infiltrated the city via the sea route.
