Delhi Metro Closes Sensitive Stations Ahead of G20 Summit

In preparation for the upcoming G20 summit, Delhi Metro has announced the closure of several sensitive metro stations from September 8 to 10 due to security concerns. A total of 39 metro stations have been identified for enhanced security measures, including the closure of specific entry and exit gates.

Among these stations, five, including Dhaula Kuan, Khan Market, Janpath, Supreme Court, and Bhikaji Cama Place, have been designated as sensitive, with all entry and exit gates closed. Additionally, certain gates at other metro stations such as R.K. Puram, Munirika, Sadar Bazar Cantonment, IIT, and Moti Bagh will also remain closed during this period.
