Former MIM Worker Stabbed to Death in Hyderabad’s Old City

A former Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (MIM) worker and social worker, Shaik Sayeed Bawazeer (27), was fatally stabbed in his office in Bandlaguda, Hyderabad. The incident occurred when an unidentified man entered his office and attacked him with a knife, resulting in his immediate death.

The accused, reportedly a rowdy sheeter, surrendered to the police. Bawazeer had been an active MIM worker in the past but had left the party due to differences. He had become a vocal critic of AIMIM leaders in Jalpally municipality.

He had expressed concerns about threats to his life and had even approached the police, alleging that his complaints were ignored. Bawazeer’s family members have demanded action against those named in his videos following his murder.
