India Provides Emergency Aid After Nepal Floods

India has sent more than 47 tonnes of emergency relief supplies to Nepal following the severe flash floods that caused widespread damage in several areas.

According to External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal, around 320 Indian nationals are currently reported to be missing or unreachable in the affected areas.

In addition, around 100 people of Indian origin who hold other nationalities are also unaccounted for. Indian authorities are working with Nepalese officials and local agencies to gather more information about their whereabouts.
