Indian Coast Guard Rescues 26 Stranded Individuals off Goa Coast
In a swift and courageous operation, the Indian Coast Guard successfully rescued 24 passengers and two crew members from the tourist ferry boat ‘Nerul Paradise’ off the coast of Goa. The boat, facing rough weather conditions with waves exceeding three meters and fuel exhaustion, was stranded near the Mormugao harbour.
Responding to distress signals, personnel from the Coast Guard ship C-148 swiftly reached the marooned vessel, calming the distressed passengers and stabilizing the situation. Through their prompt action, the Coast Guard averted a potential disaster and safely brought all individuals ashore, providing them with necessary medical assistance upon arrival.
