IPL 2026 Playoff Chances
The IPL 2026 season is reaching its climax, with several teams still in contention to make it to the knockout stage.
Punjab Kings (PBKS) are leading with 13 points from nine matches, followed closely by Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) on 12 points and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) also on 12 points but with a higher Net Run Rate (NRR). Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Gujarat Titans (GT) are tied at 12 points, while Chennai Super Kings (CSK) have 10 points and Delhi Capitals (DC) 8 points.
Punjab Kings need just two more wins to secure a top-two spot. Royal Challengers Bengaluru also require two wins for safety, though three wins could push them higher. Sunrisers Hyderabad and Rajasthan Royals both need at least two wins from their remaining matches. Gujarat Titans, despite having the same points as the top four teams, face challenges due to a negative NRR.
Chennai Super Kings must win three of their last four matches, while Delhi Capitals cannot afford any losses in their remaining games. Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Mumbai Indians (MI), both struggling with negative NRRs, need to secure multiple wins to stay in the race. Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) are on the brink of elimination and would need a strong finish to qualify.
The competition is intense, with every match counting as teams fight for a spot in the playoffs.
