M.Vairamuthu of Hatsun Academy Cliches Gold at 49th Senior National Tennikoit Championship

M. Vairamuthu  As a captain of the Tamil Nadu team in the Senior National Tennikoit Championship, he secured gold both in the team championship and the singles category. The Tamil Nadu contingent also emerged as the overall champions.

M. Vairamuthu, a bronze medalist at the 5th World Tennikoit Championship held in Pretoria, South Africa, representing Tamil Nadu, has also clinched the Senior Singles Gold Medal for the fourth time
while training under the Hatsun Tennikoit Academy. He has been awarded a ₹10 lakh sports scholarship by the Tamil Nadu Government in recognition of his achievements.

Congratulating Vairamuthu, The Chairman of Hatsun Tennikoit Academy, Mr. R.G. Chandramogan, said, “We are extremely proud to see Vairamuthu reach these heights. His steadfast dedication, discipline in
training, and consistent performance continue to bring honour to us. The trainers at Hatsun Academy deserve our deepest gratitude.”

The 49th Senior National Tennikoit Championship was held in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, from October 8th to 12th, 2025.
