Man Arrested for Attempted Chain Snatching at Woman’s House

Aminjikarai Police arrested a suspect who attempted to snatch a gold chain from a woman in her apartment. The victim, N. Renuka, aged 22, resides in an apartment in Shenoy Nagar. In the early hours of Monday, an unidentified individual entered her house while she was sleeping.

Upon hearing the intruder, Renuka awoke and raised an alarm when the person attempted to snatch her chain. The assailant fled the scene but was later apprehended by the police. V. Ramakrishnan, aged 26, was arrested in connection with the incident.
