Man Attacked, Tied, Thrown into Canal, Robbed in Kochi

A 28-year-old man was seriously injured after he was allegedly attacked with a large stone, tied up and thrown into a canal near Aluva railway station in Kochi. The attackers also reportedly robbed him before leaving the scene.

The victim suffered serious injuries in the assault, including broken ribs and a fractured wrist. He was later taken to a hospital, where he is currently receiving treatment in the intensive care unit (ICU).

The incident reportedly took place late at night. The injured man was later found floating in the canal by passersby. They immediately alerted the authorities, allowing the victim to be rescued and taken for medical treatment.
