Modi Targets DMK, Stalin Hits Back

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday said that the people of Tamil Nadu have decided to vote out the “corrupt” DMK government in the upcoming Assembly elections. He made the remarks while launching the NDA’s election campaign in the state.

Speaking at the event, Modi accused the ruling DMK of poor governance and corruption. He said the people are unhappy with the current government and are looking for change. He expressed confidence that the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) will perform strongly in the elections.

However, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin strongly responded to Modi’s comments. He accused the BJP-led NDA government at the Centre of repeatedly betraying Tamil Nadu and ignoring the state’s needs. Stalin said the DMK government has been working for the welfare and development of the people.

The exchange of sharp words highlights the growing political tension as the state prepares for the crucial Assembly elections. Both the NDA and the DMK have started their campaigns, with each side trying to win public support.

With elections approaching, political leaders are expected to step up their attacks and promises, making the contest more intense in the coming weeks.
