Nandini Hikes Ghee and Butter Prices in Karnataka

Nandini, the Karnataka-based dairy cooperative, has reportedly increased the prices of ghee and butter, adding to the recent changes in dairy product prices across the state.

According to the supplied information, the price of ghee has increased by Rs 135 per litre. Unsalted butter has also become more expensive, with the price of a 500-gram pack rising by Rs 105.

The latest price changes come shortly after Nandini increased the prices of milk and curd last week. These adjustments have brought renewed attention to the cost of everyday dairy products and their impact on consumers.

Interestingly, the price of curd was reduced by Rs 2 per litre following the initial increase. This small reduction came despite the broader rise in dairy product prices.

The cooperative’s recent pricing changes reflect adjustments across its product range. Milk, curd, ghee and butter are widely used by households, making changes in their prices important for consumers.

The latest increases may affect household budgets, especially for families and businesses that regularly purchase dairy products. Consumers will be watching for further changes in Nandini’s pricing in the coming days.
