NIA Raids Unearth ISIS Terror Conspiracy in Maharashtra and Karnataka
In a pre-dawn operation, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) conducted raids at 43 locations in Maharashtra and one in Karnataka as part of an ongoing probe into an ISIS terror modules conspiracy. At least 15 individuals were detained in the swoop, revealing a more extensive conspiracy with international connections and the involvement of ISIS handlers abroad.
The majority of the locations targeted were in rural or semi-rural areas of Thane district and Mira-Bhayander town, with additional raids in Pune and Karnataka. Those detained include individuals like Firoz Kuwar, Hasib Mulla, Musab Mulla, Rehan Suse, Farhan Suse, Adil Khot, Mukhlis Nachan, Raphail Nachan, Razeel Nachan, Shakib Nachan, Saif Atiq Nachan, Yahya Khot, Shakub Divkar, and Kasif Belare. Further raids and detentions are anticipated as the investigation unfolds in the state.
