Online Registration Starts for Chennai Dialysis Centres
Chennai: The Greater Chennai Corporation has started online registration for two new dialysis centres in Kolathur and Kondithope in North Chennai. Chief Minister M.K. Stalin is expected to open these centres later this week.
With the new online system, people can register in advance for dialysis treatment. This will make the services easier to access for patients across the city. Earlier, details of dialysis patients were usually recorded by local health nurses, and most patients were from nearby areas.
Now, patients can book their appointments online without depending only on local records.
The new centres aim to provide affordable and quality treatment for people with kidney problems, especially those who need regular dialysis. Officials said the online system will also help track patient data better and improve healthcare services.
The move is part of the Corporation’s effort to expand public health facilities and ensure that life-saving treatments like dialysis are available to everyone who needs them.
