Priyank Kharge Criticizes BJP Manifesto as Empty Promises

Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Minister Priyank Kharge lambasted the BJP manifesto for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, denouncing it as a collection of vague assurances lacking clarity on implementation. He questioned the failure of the BJP-led government to fulfill Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s past pledges, highlighting unmet commitments such as bringing back black money and creating two crore jobs annually. Kharge emphasized that the BJP’s manifesto merely showcases Modi’s travel photographs, devoid of substantive solutions to address pressing issues like unemployment and poverty.

Moreover, he criticized former Chief Minister H.D Kumaraswamy’s remarks on rural women benefiting from Congress initiatives, condemning them as reflective of an anti-women mindset. Kharge affirmed the Congress party’s commitment to delivering on its promises, contrasting it with the BJP’s track record of unfulfilled assurances and neglect of critical issues facing the nation.
