Rajnath Singh Stresses Blend of Idealism and Innovation in Armed Forces at Graduation Parade

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh emphasized the need for a harmonious blend of tradition and innovation within the armed forces during his address at the Combined Graduation Parade (CGP) held at the Air Force Academy, Dundigal. Singh highlighted the importance of preserving tradition but urged officers to bring innovation to their thinking.

He addressed the potential fading of ideals over time in various fields and encouraged the graduating officers to maintain their idealism. A total of 213 flight cadets concluded their training at the academy, including 25 women officers. Singh, as the reviewing officer, conferred the ‘President’s Commission’ and awarded ‘Wings’ to the graduating trainees.

The parade featured a flypast, and aerobatic displays, and concluded with the officers marching to the notes of Rabindranath Tagore’s ‘Anandaloke.’
