‘Snow Warriors’ is on a rescue mission in Himachal Pradesh’s Spiti Valley
In a challenging operation, ‘snow warriors’ in Himachal Pradesh’s Spiti Valley have commenced the task of digging through heavy snow to rescue approximately 300 stranded tourists, including three foreigners. These tourists had become stuck on the icy road at altitudes exceeding 15,060 feet due to heavy snowfall and adverse weather conditions.
The operation aims to reopen the road and facilitate the safe evacuation of the stranded individuals. The ‘snow warriors’ are working tirelessly to clear the snow and create a passage for the stranded tourists. Authorities are coordinating the rescue efforts and ensuring the necessary support and resources are provided.
The challenging terrain and harsh weather conditions add to the complexity of the rescue operation. The safety and well-being of the stranded tourists remain the top priority, and every effort is being made to bring them to safety. We appreciate the dedication and bravery of the ‘snow warriors’ involved in this rescue mission.
