Superintendent of Police Ajitha Vajendla intensified security measures at polling stations situated on the border villages of Eluru and West Godavari districts. During her surprise inspection at polling booths in villages like Upputeru and Dempagadapa in Akiveedu Mandal, she assessed the security arrangements and directed local police authorities to coordinate with neighboring districts for smooth election proceedings.

Emphasizing on cooperation among police units, she ensured arrangements for essential facilities at polling booths and instructed rigorous vehicle checks to deter illegal activities like the transportation of liquor and cash.
