Stalin Confident of DMK Election Victory

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin said on Friday, May 1, 2026, that the DMK party is confident of achieving its expected victory in the Assembly elections because of the strong efforts of party workers.

Speaking in Chennai during the International Workers’ Day event held at May Day Park, Stalin praised DMK cadre for their hard work during the election campaign.

He said the dedication and commitment shown by party workers in reaching out to people before the elections would help the party secure good results on counting day, which is scheduled for May 4.

Stalin confidently stated that there would be no change in the current government. He explained that his confidence was not based on exit polls or survey predictions, but on his understanding of the mood and energy of DMK workers.

According to him, the enthusiasm and support shown by party members reflected the public’s trust in the DMK government.

He also used the occasion to appreciate workers and party supporters for their role in strengthening the party’s presence across Tamil Nadu.

Stalin’s speech aimed to boost the morale of party members ahead of the important vote counting day, while reinforcing his belief that the DMK would continue to lead the state government.
