Teachers’ Association to Strike for Equal Pay

The Secondary Grade Seniority Teachers’ Association (SSTA) has said
that they will start an indefinite strike from December 26, asking for
equal pay for equal work.

They said, “Since December 1, we have been coming to work wearing cards
demanding ‘Equal Pay for Equal Work.’ In the second phase, we held a rally
to raise awareness about our demand. Now, in the third phase, we will go
on an indefinite strike.”
