Telangana CM Challenges KCR to Face Debate on Irrigation Sector

In a fiery exchange, Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy lambasted former Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) for evading discussions in the Assembly concerning critical issues in the irrigation sector. Reddy condemned KCR’s avoidance of debates, accusing him of hiding away instead of addressing matters of public importance.

Reddy also condemned KCR’s use of derogatory language against the Congress government, warning that the electorate would respond accordingly. Emphasizing the government’s readiness for informed debates, Reddy invited KCR to engage in discussions on the status of irrigation projects, including the Kaleshwaram project, in the assembly. He challenged KCR to refute allegations of damages to the Medigadda barrage and proposed a debate to clarify the situation.
