In a heart-wrenching incident, a pet dog exhibited remarkable loyalty as it waited overnight for its owner after she leaped into the Godavari River in Andhra Pradesh’s Ambedkar Konaseema district. Emotional images of the faithful dog next to its owner’s footwear spread rapidly on social media.

Throughout the night, the dog remained by her side, hoping for her return. The tragic incident took place when a 22-year-old woman jumped into the river from the GMC Balayogi Bridge, located between Yanam and Yedurlanka, during the evening hours of Sunday.

The incident occurred amidst a large crowd of visitors who had gathered to enjoy the sunset. Despite efforts by passersby and local fishermen, the woman was unable to be saved and was carried away by the strong current.
